The 16th Jiangsu Provincial High Level Forum on Information Security was grandly held from November 25th to 27th, 2023 in the beautiful town of Zhenjiang. This forum is guided by the Office of the Cybersecurity and Information Technology Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Office of the Confidentiality Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Jiangsu Association of Science and Technology. It is hosted by the Jiangsu Computer Society and hosted by the Information Security Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Computer Society, Jiangsu University, and the Industrial Control Security Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Computer Society, Co organized by the Key Laboratory of Industrial Network Security Technology in Jiangsu Province, the Engineering Research Center for Big Data ubiquitous perception and intelligent agricultural applications in Jiangsu Province, the Data Security Special Committee of the Jiangsu Cyberspace Security Society, and the Zhenjiang Computer Society. More than 120 guests, experts in special reports, directors and members of the Information Security Committee of Jiangsu Computer Society, leaders of the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering at Jiangsu University, and teachers and students attended the forum. Professor Mao Qirong, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering at Jiangsu University, presided over the opening ceremony.

    The forum, with the theme of "Cyberspace Security under the New Situation", conducts in-depth and extensive academic exchanges on the latest research progress and development trends of theories and technologies related to cybersecurity, information security, intelligent security, and other fields, promotes the application of security technology, promotes the high-quality development of information security in our province, and promotes the joint training of information security talents by schools and enterprises, which will help promote the construction and development of strong, prosperous, beautiful, and high-tech Jiangsu in our province.

    Ren Xudong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Jiangsu University, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizing unit, Jiangsu University. This high-level forum on information security was actively applied for by Jiangsu University under the guidance of multiple units. I hope to host this forum and work together with experts from both inside and outside the province to explore the latest research progress in cybersecurity, and work together to promote the vigorous development of information security innovation in our province.

    By hosting this high-level academic forum, it provides an academic exchange platform for information security professionals in Jiangsu Province and domestically, which helps to enhance the visibility and reputation of Jiangsu University in the field of information security, further expand its influence in the domestic information security field, promote the development and innovation of information security technology, and promote the development of the information security industry in our province.
